Approaching the idea of sustainable packaging not just from a material aspect but also by exploring ways to reduce the amount of packaging used in the process. This was done through exploring ideas utilizing a "Cut-Out" of material and exploring horizontal and vertical strap style alternatives, that allow multiple packages cut from the same sheet.

Packaging prototypes were made in two stages. Stage one (left image) involved creating rough mock-ups focused on dimensions. This allowed dimensions to be scaled for a full scale final version later. Stage two (right image) involved using CAD prototypes that mimicked the final packaging and also explored several different graphic treatments to test type scale and effect.
